Our standard height suspension upgrade will transform the way your MV Triton drives. This kit includes custom valved Bilstein B6 shocks and struts, our own Australian made high-quality, fully scragged front coils and custom standard height 0-300kg rated rear leaf packs that are exclusive to PRDX.
The Bilstein B6 shock absorbers that we supply aren’t ‘off-the-shelf’ units, they’ve been valved to our specifications, with the focus being on achieving the right balance between ride comfort and handling. The result is a smoother ride and massively improved on-road dynamics.
The rear leaf packs supplied with this kit are two-stage, four over two, 0-300kg springs. These leaf packs are far more capable of dealing with a decent load, or towing a moderate sized caravan, and they have superior unladen ride characteristics than the – just being honest here – frankly terrible, stock comfort and heavy-duty leaf packs.
Swapping the stock leaf packs out for these leaf packs, and doing nothing else, makes a huge difference to how the MV Triton drives and deals with a load.

You can select to DIY fit if you prefer. Otherwise, we have close to 30 fitting partners around Australia, that are selectable via the fitting dropdown list above. The cost of fitting is not included in the kit pricing, and will be charged to you directly by the fitter. As a guide, expect a full suspension kit to cost around $600 - $700 to fit, including a wheel alignment.

This PRDX standard height suspension kit, consists of the following high-quality components.
2 x fully assembled Bilstein B6 front struts, with bespoke valving (developed in conjunction with PRDX) and fitted with 'made in Australia', fully scragged coils and new top mounts.
2 x rear Bilstein B6 shock absorbers with bespoke valving (developed in conjunction with PRDX).
2 x rear 0-300kg rated standard height rear leaf packs. These are NOT reworked OEM springs, they are far superior, more comfortable from a ride perspective and better able to deal with load. They also radically change the vehicle’s dynamics.
Fitting this suspension kit will transform the way your MV Triton drives, rides and handles. If you've spent some time driving the MV, you'll know that it has some undesirable dynamic traits - low speed harshness and high-speed wallowing - and when fitted with the comfort rear suspension (GLX-R, GLS & GSR), it struggles to deal with anything more than very moderate loads.
This suspension upgrade massively improves, for the better, the MV's on-road dynamics, comfort and load handling ability.

Funny story. Around two score and five years ago there was a suspension wizard in Melbourne that lowered a lowly white Commodore ute. His magic formula was Bilstein B6 shocks/struts - that he revalved for a more 'plush' ride - and lowered Eibach coils.�
That Commodore, despite being lowered, was a revelation in the way that it soaked up bumps and went around corners.
I'll argue to this day, that in a road car, a more compliant ride, equals more grip and ultimately better handling on less than perfect roads.
The shocks for these PRDX suspension kits were never going to have off-the-shelf valving, as we were chasing that wizard's mix of comfort and handling. We got there in the end, and while the revalving adds cost, it's worth it.
Mitsubishi quotes eyebrow heights (wheel centre to edge of guard) for the MV Triton of 520mm front / 569mm rear. The GSR with it's flares, knocks 5mm off those measurements.
After fitting this kit and allowing enough time for it to all settle a little, you will see around those heights, ie no lift.
The Bilstein's have an adjustable circlip that sets the height of the lower spring seat. There are three possible settings for this circlip, stock, 5mm higher and 10mm higher. On the highest setting, a front height increase of around 15mm is achieved. This would be enough to allow for the weight of an alloy or steel bar, but not a winch.
Yes you can. The spring packs on their own will make a worthwhile positive change to the way the MV drives, rides and handles a load. Head over to this listing if you want to buy just the leaf packs.
The Bilsteins are also available as a set without springs, so you could run them with the stock springs if you wanted. You'll get a much better result going with the full kit though. Head over to this product listing to purchase the shocks on their own.

There is a flat shipping rate of $75 on all full suspension kits that applies to most metropolitan and inner rural areas in Australia. If the address you provide is outside of these areas, you'll be notified at checkout. Please contact us for a quote if that is the case.
SHIPPING LEAF SPRINGS SEPARATELY
All PRDX kits that include leaf springs will ship in two 'lots'. The fully assembled struts and shocks will ship direct to you or your chosen fitting outlet. The leaf springs will ship separately and due to their weight cannot be shipped to a residential address, so they'll either ship to your nearest depot, or ship direct to your chosen fitting outlet.
PRDX warrants its suspension products to be free from faults or defects in workmanship and materials for the warranty term, which in the case of our suspension kits is 3 YEARS | 60,000 KILOMETERS.
